Calloway said everyone entering is encouraged to participate in the parade ahead of the car and truck show.
Calloway said there is no entry fee or limits on what can be entered but participants are required to fill out a waiver which can be found on the Palestine Area Chamber of Commerce’s website at https://www.palestinechamber.org/hot-pepper-festival.
Calloway noted there is a $25 entry fee if you would like to be judged in the parade lineup.
According to Calloway, with no set categories, this car and truck show is a unique opportunity to go head to head with other vehicles.
“Twenty local businesses have donated 40 oz tumblers that have been custom engraved by Jay Lowe Designs,” Calloway said. “Businesses that donated will choose their favorite being called the Host Choice Awards.”
Calloway said there will be live music, food vendors and plenty of other activities to keep you busy throughout the event.
